Could this charger be used for a Yamaha G9?
I recently came across what I believe to be a Yamaha G9 golf cart. It doesn't have a charger, while on ebay looking for a charger I came across this and was wondering if I installed the correct plug on it, would it work?http://cgi.ebay.com/Mastech-Universa...3A1%7C294%3A50

Re: Could this charger be used for a Yamaha G9?
Welcome to BGW. The amperage just isn't up to what the orig. Yamaha had. THe Original charger had 17amps... Also the charger has to be configured to the # of cells you have in your pack... I would stick with the Orig Yamaha or a 36v automatic ( not timer) Lester .... There are some others that will work but they need to be made for deep cycle batteries
