94.5 ezgo series slow
I've upgraded the motor 8hp, 1600rpm,500 amp GE controller, HD solinoid,4ga. cables, 5'' lift wt 22's, but i still don't seem to have alot of torque. The batts. are about 3yrs. old. Also i can pull the orange wire off the reverse micro-switch and it doesn't make any diff. in the way it runs, anybody got any ideals.

Re: 94.5 ezgo series slow
Upgraded controller/motor combos require excellent batteries and 4g cables. Perhaps you should load test your batteries.

Re: 94.5 ezgo series slow
The orange wire allows 1/2 speed reverse. If it runs the same with it on or off, something isn't wired right.

Re: 94.5 ezgo series slow
Maybe the whole cart is wired half speed ....we need some hard info here. Can you post battery readings and gps speed? Also 1650 rpm? You sure you got that right? If so, you should have tons of torque .....
