Default Columbia Par Car F/R Switch 1998

I have been told by Columbia manufacturer that this switch is obsolete.
They say there is a way to wire newer model switch to work!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! ballyb

There should be only 4 wires going to the switch.....you should be able to wire it without any trouble. The basic layout of the switch should be the same.

Thanx for the response roady 89! I contacted Parcars manufacturer in Reedsburg Wi.
They informed me of the unavailability of the original switch. They also told me of the
"fix" using newer switch but stressed that they did not condone this.(liability issues?).
I'm assuming that your response means that this "fix" is something you are familiar with?
If there is more extensive info available, where do I look?.(wiring digram perhaps?). Thanx
again-this is a great site!! Ballyb

It's a 3 terminal, 3 position manual key switch. Forward-Nuetral-Reverse. Thats about all I know.
