Default to rattle can.....

or not to rattle can................that is the question... I want new paint on my buggy so bad I can taste it. My wife will flat out skin me if I spend more than $20 more on this thing. Am I "whizzin" in the wind to think a rattle can paint job will look good on my buggy? Any suggestions>?

A fine paint job can be done with spray cans.

Gary used it on his cart, and it looks pretty good. Just take your time, lots of light coats and good prep, and you'll be fine I think.

hmmm

Thanks for the input, I just don't want to hose my new front cowl. I need to find something to fill in the imperfections on the rear clip where I got run over by a *cough*yamaha*cough*.

I rattle canned mine, best $10 I've spent on it. Also, flat paint is easier to hide your mistakes. Here's a pic of it right after I finished:

The G9 was done with Walmart camo paint (not sure what brand) and the 97 cent flat black.

If you use rattle can paint and want it to look good, I suggest getting the kind with the fan type spray nozzle.

thanks for the advice. someone was telling me there are cheap kits out there that have base and clear in a spray can. Anybody know where I can find somethin like that? Also, what is the best thing to use as a filler on plastic?
