12v accessories
I have a Club Car 2006 year Presidence and have lights on it from the factory and know there must be a voltage reducer but where is it? I would like to put in a buss bar to add other accessories like a radio and other stuff on the 12v volt side of the reducer. Any help would be greatly appreciated The Cajun

Re: 12v accessories
I know on the older model ds carts, like 02, there is an reducer located on driverside frame rail, about 6" long with a black wire coming out each end.

Re: 12v accessories
If I remember correctly, they are 26 or 28 amp continuous, on a 48 volt cart using 8 volt batts.

You'll need to use a voltage meter to determe which battery in your car is the acc positive and connect your bus bar to it. Put the voltage meter negative lead on the spade connector, positive voltage meter lead on each positive battery post until your meter reads 14.x volts. This will identify which battery to connect your bus bar. Last edited by TheAspec; 06-11-2011 at 04:58 PM.. Reason: Typos |
