Re: spray paint?
Go to a auto supply store that sells paint they should have adhesion promoter. I know the local Oreillys has bulldog adhesion promoter, Dupont has some called plas stick. There are a few available. Make some calls to auto supply stores they should know what it is. As far as the color I would wait for an answer from master.

Re: spray paint?
The adhesion promoter is a spray on application and what it does is actually soften up the plastic so the paint will stick to the cart and last. This is a must or the paint will not last. The bulldog adhesion comes in a spray can, just make sure to follow the diresctions. The Florida gator blue I would consider a royal blue, but I would bring something with you like some clothing or sticker or something when you pick the paint to match it up to.

I have painted 3 carts to date Cammee and the TXT's were easy to remove the body. It was a piece of cake and a whole lot easier for me than taping. It's mostly pop rivets and a few bolts. There is actually a thread here somewhere that gives detailed body removal instructions. On 2 I used basecoat and clear and on the other I used a single stage dupont and they all looked great. I'll try to get some pics if you like. My first one is actually royal blue and looks great. |

Re: spray paint?
This was done on a metal body. I know your trying on a plastic body so results may vary.
