Re: Painting Canopy
I painted the top on my Carryall about a year ago (Satin black) and it's held up great. We have one tree in our yard, not sure what kind it is but the branches (even the little tiny sticks at the ends of the branches) are incredibly hard and stiff. I have to use the chainsaw to trim anything larger than your pinky finger, the HD loppers we have won't touch it! The only time I've had to touch up my roof was when the kids ran into it... And the scratches were minimal at most, just on the corner of the roof. But because I used satin black, touch up was easy and you can't tell.
Everywhere else it's held up great, bird poop, pressure washer, etc. I do keep it parked inside, so I'm sure that helps |

Re: Painting Canopy
Thanks CP241 for the info. I didn’t think of using a satin paint on it. I have painted all the roof supports and rear seat assembly with satin black.
I am still in the process of checking it over and repair or replace what is needed. The body buffed out good. So the only thing that will need paint is the top. When it is time for that I hope for some good weather. I don’t have a paint booth. That tree you have sounds like the Willow Oaks that I have here. Thanks Terry |

Re: Painting Canopy
I have used Rustoleum Truck Bed liner from Ace on several carts including mine with great results. It is a little tougher than regular paint.
