The term is GM's wording for a High Energy Ignition. Fords was Duraspark. And so on.

The module has 4 flat bladed connectors, but there are 5 wires.

W, and G connect to the red, and blue wires from the pulsar. You will have to switch them to see which way runs the best. All modules are different.

C connects to the coil - (negative).
B connects to the solenoid D + (power)

The fifth wire is attached to the module mounting screw, and to ground.

Your best bet is to start a new thread, and tell us what your symptoms are before wasting your time on this conversion.

I need some help from the experts. I also have a 3pg and did the HEI conversation. At first the cart would not pickup RPMs and the muffler would get really hot. So I researched and swapped the red and blue wires. Now it picks up RPMs but has kind of a skip and drives very slow. Please help. Here is a list of new parts.

New cylinder and rings. Compression is over 120 psi.
New carburetor
New Fuel pump
New primary clutch
Recently BBQ the muffler
New spark plug

Here is the link to a video of the engine running. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYRCGoPOf2o
