Looks like a Yamaha G2/G9 rear end to me. Clutch should work fine.

Should work. Make sure you try and get that rust off the outer clutch sheave. That surface likes to be pretty clean and polished. Don't use a grinder, just try and lightly sand with fine paper until the rust is gone, then go finer and finer until it's smooth and shiny. You could "polish" it, but probably not necessary.

Use the stock spring for clutch. Might be worth buying a new "stock" clutch spring. No need for a HD spring.

Clutch experts doesn't that primary look to be for a tapered shaft ?

Which belt width should I plan on using and should this clutch fit directly on the Briggs?

Can't tell from the photo, but it's worth looking at.

OP can you verify that the primary clutch is for a 1" straight shaft and not a 30mm tapered? What did the clutch come off of?

Will get inside pics tonight. Not sure what it came off of. Bought both for $40 at my local salvage yard.

Shoot. That does look tapered. Guess I'll have to find a different drive clutch
