Default VC625 primary clutch weight info needed

Can anyone tell me what weights (ie:how heavy) are in my VC625 clutch as I received it? I'd really like to try putting a little more weight in the primary to hold the RPM down some. Mine buzzes 4K+ too easy.

Thanks!

Jim

VC mainly uses the 130 gram weights with the yellow springs. I am not aware of any heavier weights but there are stiffer springs than the yellow units. You need to talk to someone like belt palace about what can be done. But I would think you would want to shift sooner rather than later to put more load on the engine to minimize rpms. With my VC 460 I am running the green springs,68 gram weights and 24" tires to maximize the power with the least rpms.

Sounds like you need high speed gears? Going to 8:1 gears will reduce your rpm by at least 25%.

Yep. I've got those sitting here from CPP, but they either back-ordered or forgot to ship (or USPS lost!) the box of ambition that was supposed to come with them.

I hate shipping shortages......
