If your pipe is mounted to the engine, and your muffler is mounted to the frame, the pipe will break.

The engine moves up and down with suspension movement. The frame does not move. So you'll need to have a flex joint in there somewhere to allow the pipe to move with the suspension.

Default Official Duromax 440 Swap Thread

So I repaired my existing exhaust and added a piece of 1 3/4 flex just before the muffler. We will see how this one lasts.

Steve - how many amp is the onboard charging system on your 440 ? Can't find any info on the Duromax site.

I’d have to look through the manual. I’m using the stock generator so I never thought to look into it.
