Hi Andy. Funny you asked about this build. I just pulled this cart out of storage today for a 4th of July trip. This cart is the only cart I have left. All of my other carts have been sold. Anyways.... Basically I built the engine mount according to where the the motor had to be placed for clearance. Once the mount was built I used the belt to line everything up and then drilled the holes. I'm using an EZGO belt....part # 10979. 42" long / 1 1/8 wide. It's the same belt I used on my silver G1. The muffler is an odd ball that came from Ebay. If I remember correctly the seller was Small Engine Warehouse. I think I paid around $100 for it. Most mufflers that mount like this one will exit on the left side. This one exits on the right side. With this muffler hidden under the seat it really cuts down on noise. Let me know if you start a build.
