Default Pedal Adjustment

So i installed a speed spring and now when i hit th egas its like it is either on or of no slow or middle. I tried adjusting the cables noting helped. Could this be because of the speed spring or what could it be.

Mine did that too, I adjusted the gas pedal one notch more (more pedal travel) and that took car of it.... not sure why, but it did, try it... worst case, move it back!

What do you mean by one notch are you adjusting it back by the triaxle or actually under the pedal on the floorboard.

Floorboard. The pedal fits on a shaft, you remove the pinch bolt, pull it off and rotate it clockways (if you working from the drivers side, and you should be) one notch, and re-install... took longer to remove the floormats... Also, I just took the mat loose from around the pedals and then pulled it back, no need to remove all the way...
