Speed test
I don't want to make this a challenge, just FYI. I have seen others talk about their speeds and just wanted to start a different thread.
And I have a disclaimer from Street Outlaws: "Just because we're dumbasses don't mean you can be too so don't do any of this **** that we do at home" So I had some help to tune my cart yesterday. Today I wanted to do a Street Outlaw kinda thing. So I downloaded a GPS Speedometer/Stop watch app from the play store. I set out to run an eighth of a mile and see what my numbers were like. Things I would recommend (probably many good ones, I'm all ears) Make sure it's a safe area Good weather Daylight Straight road No traffic Cart fully charged It seems better to not do this by yourself Have your favorite tune on the radio Have some fun, but be safe |

Re: Speed test
I love the blue flame and over all look of your cart!
My tuner asked what numbers I wanted. I was scared of the speed, but wanted some power because I'm not a tiny person. And I can ses loads of over 1,000 lbs with myself and 3 friends. The tuner and I ran some 32 mph max runs. My nearby streets only allow me that eighth of a mile run. But, maybe on a slower day like Monday's. |

Re: Speed test
Now you know if you either remove or cover up your "SS" emblems, you will lose an immediate 10mph from your top speed.
Just an FYI!!! |

Re: Speed test
You have a nice looking cart there.
BTW.....you state your rear shocks are coil over.....I assume your leaf springs are just factory? |

Re: Speed test
I did a speed test today on a low charge on the lith pack and peaked at 27 with two kids on board headed to Home Depot.
But... I didn't know how to do a screen shot so by the time I looked it up a few hours had passed, pulling the app back up it tried to reacquire the satellites and suddenly thought I was doing 66 mph.... While sitting in my computer chair! So there we go. Golf Cart, 27mph. Computer Chair, 66 mph. |

Re: Speed test
Suppose to be heavy duty leaf springs but who knows. There are 4 springs. coil-overs are stiff but stability at high speed is fantastic.
