It sounds like the controller is failing the poweron testing. If that test fails for any reason, it shuts down your ability to drive. In order to find out what the error is, you'll need to have it hooked to an RXV diagnostic tool. If is has the original Danaher controller, it will have to be the diagnostic handset for Danaher. 2008 - Feb 23 2012 RXVs were built with Danaher controllers, after that were Curtis. Where are you located?

whats the resistor for? cause there are white cables from both sides, one goes to the solenoid and the other goes to the small black module type thing, with a plug.

Hopefully someone near you will chime in. The RXV is unlike the other carts that have built-in diagnostics that flash out codes. It must be diagnosed with the handset or you could spend a lot of $ changing out perfectly good parts. HPD (High Pedal Disable) is common, from a brake or throttle pedal not returning fully to its up position. The springs weaken with age, trash gets in the mechanism, sensors and switches fail, ect. It's a rolling microcomputer that tests itself every time you turn it on.

The resistor is to bleed off excess voltage from the regenerative braking to avoid overvoltage conditions during braking.

cgtech is trying to help you diagnose it. If the cart jolts, it would indicate that the motor brake is not holding the motor stopped during the poweron test. So it looks like that test is passing. There is a series of tests and those clicks are part of it.
