Default Precedent jerks! Help?

My new to me 2012 CC Precedent has started jerking when it accelerates. Once up to speed there are no issues. The jerking issue seems to have gotten worse over the short time that I've owned the cart.

Help me trouble shoot this.

Thanks Ryan

I did do a search prior to this post but nothing definitive came up.

That year the 2012 was equipped with a MCOR 3, they had so many issues with them they replaced them with the MCOR 4. Mine was apparently replaced but I suspect you have the MCOR 3 and it will need replacing.

Remove the group pedal assembly and take a look and see what the label on it says, this may be a good inclination of your issues, there are test you can do for this.

Thanks. I'll check it out when I get back home.

Is this an issue that can leave me stranded? I was planning on taking the cart camping next week for the kids spring break and am not sure if I'll be able to get the part and fix it in time. If it won't leave me stranded I might just limp it along for the vacation and fix it when we get back.

It probably won't leave you stranded but Murphy will be riding with you. Order one pay for next day delivery if you have to. Be sure to read http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...explained.html

That's good that it's already got the MCOR4, but they can still fail. They're just not as prone to failure as the MCOR3. I would advise replacing it.

Managed to sneak away for awhile and buy and new MCOR and install it. I thought that the problem was resolved, did a couple of test runs with no issues. Put everything back together and took the cart for a spin and the problem still persists.

Anymore ideas?
