G1 not taking fuel
I have a g1 that will take fuel for about 30 to 40 minutes and then stop. I have had it in the shop for a long time, but they cannot seem to be able to fix it.
Parts that have been replaced. fuel pump carb fuel lines. gas tank gas filter fuel lin in tank It will pump fuel find for 30 to 40 minute and then stop. It is like it stops once the motor get warmed up good. If you have any thoughts on this please share. thanks JP: |

Re: G1 not taking fuel
Get it warm and do a compression test.
Seals may be shot or a gasket leaking. |

Re: G1 not taking fuel
Will it run ok with the gas cap off? Not sure if the cap is vented on these or not but you may be creating a vacum in the tank if air is not allowed to replace the fuel being used up. There is also a release valve on the top of the tank, not sure if it vents excessive pressure or allows air in.
