Window mounting clips
I will be picking up a used Par Car on monday that I will be using as part of a club at the local Shriners. This one doesnt have a windshield on it. Havent gotten the serial number yet to know the year yet. Can anyone point me to a source for the clips so that I can put a windshield on it ? Figured I would probably go with a sheet of plexiglass for now.
Thanks, Ron |

Re: Window mounting clips
The new windshield should come complete with clips.

Re: Window mounting clips
A new windshield isnt an option for me at this point. I was going to use a small sheet of plexiglass for the time being. The windshields I have been able to find have been in the $200 to $400 range and therefore why I am trying to do a windshield a little more economically for the time being.

Re: Window mounting clips
rnutter,
I used well nuts and neoprene backed washers with 10-24 machine screws to mount mine to a cage. Check here for well nuts and washers, http://www.mcmaster.com/ I noticed that Everything Carts sells a clip kit only for the Club Car and Ez-Go. Most of them use the same size square tube for the top frames so, these may work. http://www.everythingcarts.com/c-62-windshields.aspx |
