Default installing a LED back up light with buzzer on 95 DS

Hi. I am new to this site. I have a 95 DS model 36 volt Club Car that I need to hook up a LED back up light and replace the stock buzzer with a truck style back up alarm. The cart is used in a construction area during the week and around kids on the weekend at night. I thought I can just disconnect the stock buzzer and tap into the 2 wires that are going to that. 1 orange and 1 white. The orange is hot all the time but the white lights up a test light when the cart is in reverse. I was thinking white was the ground but now I'm not sure. What would be the proper way to make this happen? I just want to put the cart in reverse and have the buzzer sound like it should and have the back up light come on like in a car. Thanks to anyone who can help me with this.

Better measure the voltage across that pair of wires first, to determine if your light and signal horn will work on that voltage. It might be pack voltage...

Ok I tested the pair of wires. It shows 37.8 volts when its in reverse. Nothing on that pair when in netural.

if you are using 12V reverse lights & a 12V buzzer, simply remove the factory buzzer and replace with a 48v relay.
