I have a Brand New EZGO Curtis 1206AC_5360 350amp RXV Controller. This controller has been fully turned up for acceleration, speed, and torque. An RXV with 20.5” tires should get 30mph+, 23” tires and you will go even faster. These 350amp controllers were made for carts with 23” tires, backseats, and carts driven in hilly terrain. If your cart has been slowing down under load, then this is the controller you need. There is zero time on this controller.

I'm curious because i've just started doing some research for upgrading my controller on my 2015 RXV. I currently have the 1206AC5201. I just went through the process of reading 500 pages of controller upgrades. I built the cable, modified settings, etc and got it all connected only to then realize I couldn't modify freedom mode without a passkey.

Anyways, then I started looking at Navitas upgrades. What is the benefit to going with the 350 amp Curtis controller instead of a Navitas. I believe I read that this particular controller is actually under rated. However... at the price point you could have the flexibility of the Navitas app, etc.

So just trying to understand the 350 amp controller upgrade as there's not too much info about it. Would this be a direct plug/play swap? Any other modifications needed?

These 350amp controllers were made for carts with tires over 20.5" in height, carts with backseats, and carts driven in hilly terrain. If your cart has been slowing down under load, then this is the controller you need. Yes, plug and play.
