Default Columbia Par Car Seats

Im doing a small restore on an 89 Par Car I got for next to nothing. Runs great. Just needs a rack and pinion, two tires, and a paint job.
I'm looking for some suggestions on seats. I want to either cover, or reupholster the seats in a light gray. Can't really find much online for this particular cart so any options suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!

I am currently restoring an '89 as well that I am documenting here:

Your seats look to be in great shape. You just don't like the color? Assuming that's the case you really only have two options:

1) You can get vinyl you want from a craft store and do it yourself. A few attempts will get you a decent result. There are a few You Tube videos out there that illustrate how to do this.

2) You can take the seats to a professional furniture upholsterer and they can do it. This will get you OEM-like results.

The seats are in great shape. I just want them to be gray, or black. As I'm currently painting the body a dark satin metallic gray. I was looking into vinyl dyes but, am afraid that will cause it to look streaky or just very bad in general. I thought about reupholstering, not sure if I want to take on that task and screw something up.
