How NOT to treat your cart!
Oh boy, here we go...
They hit a fence...and judging by the 3+ inches of toe-in, a plethora of other things. The bushings are melted! Look closely. See how close the delta plate was from coming OUT of the shock tower? Let's plant a garden! The steering box is the tightest thing in the front end, even though it's probably full of dirt. Again, the fence incident... The fire or torch incident. Runs perfect, too bad it doesn't look that way. I don't think the oil has been changed since the Napoleonic era but I could be be wrong. My favorite...the key! |

Re: How NOT to treat your cart!
Hell, it looks like it's just getting broken in! We have a cart at the farm that has taught numerous kids how to drive. At some point in each kids life, they have taken that cart out in the woods to see just what it could and couldn't do. I don't think it has a straight peice of metal on it. It spent a night at the golf cart shop and now runs pretty good, although it doesn't run a straight line very well.

Re: How NOT to treat your cart!
I wouldn't take that thing if it was full of gold!!
Besides the steering box, which could get away with new boots, a tear down and cleaning, and put back together with plenty of new grease, I think they needs just about every part that's on there. The driver side king pin may be able to be salvaged, but that is ALL. |

Notice how the TXT is in the same place in every pic?
You're right, if that cart were an EZSLOW I'd have to fab up a new frame for all that rust it would have. |

Re: How NOT to treat your cart!
I don't understand all the rust problems. Out of all my carts (Yamaha and Ezgo), I have never had a rust problem. Of course this is TN.
