Default Roady89's Battery Cable Review

The cables made by Roady89 arrived, and they are nothing less than what was expected.

While on the topic or quality, or lack thereof in the following picture, we'll take a look at a factory Yamaha cable.

In the following picture, you'll see a cable made by Roady89 compared to a factory Yamaha cable. The quality of the Yamaha cable falls far short.

Left: OEM Yamaha cable
Right: Roady89 custom cable

The OEM cables have insubstantial terminals and are stiff and hard to position. They are poorly sealed on the ends, and corrode quickly.
The cables made by Roady89 have much better terminals and are flexible enough to get into any position. They are also of a larger gauge; a huge plus in lifted cart applications. They are perfectly sealed and look to be made to last a lifetime.

Those cables are made with finely stranded 4 guage welding cable. The lugs are soldered on and sealed with shrink tubing so "hopefully" no air can get to the cable and corrode the cable.
