Handling Upgrade Suggestions Please

OK... so now the cart goes faster, ya know it's never fast enough

And now was wondering what you all have been doing to get some better handling.
--Do low profile tires make any difference??
---How about some gas charged shocks...anyone find a set that fits DS models??
---How about the heavy duty springs..do they help stop the body roll on turns??
Just looking for some ideas on what others have done...I love the extra speed but would like to minimize the body roll and wishy-washy feeling on turns.

low pro tires stop some tire roll, but probably not enough to notice. hd rear springs help body roll a lot but give a lot firmer ride. have no exp with front hd leaf but I would assume it would make the ride really stiff!

I am running NO shocks on my lifted 98. I have new stock shocks on my stock height 94. I can't really tell much differance in them

Thought I saw a post on here somewhere where a leaf was removed from a 4 stack H.D. rear spring set up and added to the front.. I just cant seem to find it now, it was probably buried in some other thread. Its mostly the body roll I would like to lessen, the ride harshness would not be much of an issue as its all roads and paved cart paths where we are.....miles and miles and miles of them

I put the hd springs on the back of mine and it made a really big difference with the body roll. This was after I installed the 6" lift and 22" tires. I purchased some new stock shocks from eBay and that helped a little. I also have the rear flip seat so I needed the extra help on the back.

Anyone find an automotive shock listing that fits these DS carts?? more specifically mines a 97.

Scroll thru this thread... I detailed the spring mods I did to Ike... I can toss him into corners at speed with very little body roll.. The ride with stock OEM shocks is firm yet controlled but not bone-jarring.. I can run at full speed (25 MPH) on washboard trails, and the suspension just soaks up the bumps..
