![]() I bought a Dana Spicer H-12 FNR rear end, for my big block golf cart.
It is a new unit, but it does not have a shift lever on the shaft that shifts the trans. Is there anyone out there that has one, made one, or know where I can obtain one. I had made a crude attempt to make one, and it worked at first, but soon got worn and sloppy. Any help would be appreciated. |

![]() I have a factory made UTV that I think has that rear in it. I found a site where they sell the parts and they may have what your looking for.
Parts! Where did you get the rear end? Does it have a locker? I think they made one with a locker which would be handy in a BB cart. Mine has the added gear box on the side that allows for 4 wheel drive which my UTV has. |

![]() I bought the rear end, from a gentleman who was going to build a motorized picnic table. With the resurrection of his mid 60s Ford Fairlane, he didn't have time, so he put it up for sale.
I asked where he bought it, and he said it was from someone who bought a whole pallet full of the new rear ends. It's been a while since he bought it, so he didn't remember the specifics of the seller. I wish I did have the differential lock, and if there was one to purchase, without costing an arm and a leg, I would buy it. As far as the extra output shaft for 4 wheel drive, I'm not too interested. If you have a shifter arm, I would like to see it, and maybe if you could draw out the dimensions, and with pics, I'm sure I could duplicate it. |

![]() Johnny, I'll try to get you a picture of the shift linkage arm and will get you measurements as well.
Mine is actually linkage hookup instead of cable. Myself, I'd go with a cable. I'll try to get those for you sometime today or tomorrow. ![]() |

![]() That's good news. Going to my Polaris site, to see if I can find the rear end, and find the gears. Maybe I'll be changing them.
