Re: 1982 ez go electrical help
Welcome to BGW !! a new motor but seriously, resistor carts are pretty much wide open at full pedal. I ran my with 5 inch lift and 22 inch wheels. it went up hills and and ran pretty good on flats. Without speeding serious money on new controller, going to 48v, solenoids, etc etc. ya gonna have to live with what you got..unless you can get a the motor reworked at EMP, that would be the most cost effective from what I have read.

I am not sure if they are a site sponsor. I have not used them nor do I work for them. I have only seen good post on this site about them. I have emailed questions to them and they are responsive. aloha joe |

i have been looking into buying some stuff like a motor or something but i can't find anything that says it will fit mine. Does emp just take your old motor and make it better so you dont have to change anything else?

My $0.02. Maybe someone else can explain better than I can. Also, you could sell it, save some money and get an EZGO ST model. |

Re: 1982 ez go electrical help
Hey Huskercorn1, yea from what I understand, you send them your motor, and they rework it. they even can make it a two speed motor. I just sold my 1988 cart so I may now have the funds to upgrade my new old cart. Just send them an email or fill out their online form, they will get back to ya with options.
