Bobcat/club car XRT 1500 diesel take off issues
I have an old bobcat UTV which is that same thing as the club car XRT 1500. It has the Kubota diesel. I got it as a non runner from an auction. My issue is that when I start it and put it in gear and hit the gas it has to get really high in rpms before it starts driving. Almost like something is stuck and it finally breaks loose. I thought it might be the drive clutch so I replaced it with no luck. I also have the brakes taken off as I thought they might be sticking. So at this point I’m left thinking either transmission or rear diff? What thought do y’all have? I know not many people have worked on these so it’s harder to find stuff on them and nobody around here will touch it since it is a diesel.

Have you verified the driven clutch is working properly as well? Also is your drive belt in good condition (width not worn down etc..)?

What was the problem/solution? (I am seemingly having the same issue with a 2012 XRT1550.
