Search ebay for ezgo rxv motor brake. There is an aftermarket disc available. I don't know anything about it's quality.

Aftermarket ones look really cool, and they're a waste of money. Sorry to pop the parade balloon. By the time it fails, the disc alone isnt all that's bad.

Hey, give it a go if you want, but I wouldnt put my own money there.

The Friction Disc were pressed against the Brake Disc, when Parking Brake engaged, right? I guess , question was, if that part inside the Motorbrake Assy is available...

The friction disc can be purchased separately from the aftermarket. The brake is only a parking brake or emergency brake. If the disc needs replacing the whole brake is most likely bad. There isn’t any way for it to wear out in normal use. Only use an oem brake.

well...the reliance 22-058repair kit that comes with friction disc and heavy duty retainer plate only lasted a week or so and had a nuclear meltdown and turned into dust with a HORRENDOUS smell!!
gonna do some calls to manufacture and see what gives?
I did find two of the four 12V batts are on the week side when testing with Lester batt discharger (.3-.4 volts less then other two).thoughts?
