Default Aftermarket Air Filter

2008 Club Car Precedent (GAS)

Does anyone make an air filter replacement for it?

THANKS in advance! [emoji1303][emoji1306]

I've never looked, but I'm gonna have to guess no. The stock airbox system is quite restrictive and the carb it tuned for that setup. A "performance air filter" would not yield any gains because the filter isnt the restriction, the airbox is. And modifying that whole setup is certainly possible but would require quite a bit of carb jet tuning to make it run right.

THANKS for the response! Didn’t know if a dirt bike filter would work with a filter wrap on it?

IMO it would be more trouble than it's worth. Youd gain nothing performance-wise by putting an aftermarket filter in the restricted stock intake. And while youd maybe gain some performance with a cone style filter on the carb, and jetting upgrades to match the air flow, it would be a lot of work and you would probably see better performance results from clutching and/or gearing upgrades.
