Remove the carb, remove the bowl, unscrew the jet in the center, screw the new jet in.

What kit did you get? I know a few places sell them, if you got it from somewhere that’s worth the time to deal with (not BU) the seller should be able to help with install details.

Cart Part Plus. That sounds pretty easy, just didnt know where the jet was located inside the carb.

If you're installing a bigger jet please let us know your results afterwards. Thanks

It makes a difference if you’re running higher rpms. The stock carb leans out at higher rpms and if you’re trying to run bigger tires CPPs performance kit will make a difference.
I dunno what kit Wayne got, but CPP does a clutch kit (springs and clutch machining, and a jet kit for the carb) that’s tailor made to increase torque and help maintain better power band for running larger tires.

I have big tires, got the clutch machined, got the power springs installed in both clutches, severe duty belt, timing key, and 8:1 high speed gears. Am I wasting my time with the carb jet?

Got the jet and high volume fuel pump installed. I got 1mph extra, waaaay smoother take off, and the engine seems to be running at a lower rpm even at the highest speed I got up to, which was 29.5mph.

You'll probably notice more difference climbing hills. The clutch springs keep the engine in the power band longer. The jet gives a bit more fuel for better power while it's in that power range.
