gx390 shutting down
have a 390gx in a club car for a year now and for some reason it seams too loose vaccum when it heats up. no fuel in clear filter. then when it cools down it starts and runs fine. have the agk carb block running pulse signal. all fuel lines are new and routed away from exhaust and motor. could the pulse pump be the culprit. any suggestions would help thanks. search 175 dollar special for biuld pics

Re: gx390 shutting down
Sure could be the pump. It's Yamaha but check this thread out > http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-y...fuel-pump.html

Re: gx390 shutting down
ok thats reasuring the pump is the only component in the system thats not new. why does it only happen when it heats up? i have alot of hills at the campground being its in wv mountains so it dont take long with people on it to start sputtering

May not be heat, could be time.

Re: gx390 shutting down
Could your gas tank vent be plugged, not allowing gas to be pumped out of the tank?

Re: gx390 shutting down
i figued out my problem. i moved the pulse pump from the side of the tank to the top of the electrical box. this shortened up pulse hose. talked to a guy that uses the gx390 in pulling tractors and told me the vacum weakens when motor is hot. well rode it around all weekend with no trouble

Re: gx390 shutting down
I think I might have to move my pump also.I noticed that mine has seemed to run out of fuel at top end here lately.Driving slowly and it runs great.I never really though about the pulse line losing signal from the heat.Makes sense to me.glad you figured it out.
