81 exhaust problems, need exhaust stack
I had a McGyvered exhaust on my 81 ezgo. When I got it, the factory exhaust stack was cut in half and a motorcycle exhaust was welded onto it.
I broke down and bought a new muffler (ouch) and the cart guy cannibalized an exhaust stack from his graveyard. Hook it up and the exhaust stack is no good. It has the wrong bends on both ends of the flange. There is no way it will fit. Ezgo does not make the exhaust stack for the 81 marathon. Parts catalogs do not have any stacks listed. Questions: Where can i get one? Can i take it to a muffler guy and have him bend the exhaust stack to work? Does anyone have a picture, or schematic of what the 81 stack looks like? I was told this: Throughout the marathons' life cycle, ezgo moved the muffler to the back, side, and underneath. Thanks |
