Like James said, This needs to be a all weekend thing.... Maybe work it out to get up there Friday Night and get up early Sat Morning and Sun morning to start riding...

i will defiently try to talk my dad into going, mapquest said bout 600 miles from halifax PA to where coal creek is, defiently would need to be a weekend thing though, 600 miles would be pushing it for 1 day of carting

Looks there is several people looking to go to Coal Creek. As soon as warm weather breaks we need to get a number of people and carts and find out about one location for everyone to stay at and see if we can get a discount.

WW just had a great idea! Since Coal Creek is not actually supervised or doesn't have an age limit on driver's it would be a great time for a father and son/daughter weekend. And if they are mature enough, they could get in some supervised trail driving. Just a thought. But remember, this place can be and is dangerous in areas.

Yeah! You could actually flip a cart over backwards. I did on the first trip there and missed several opportunities on the second trip.
