Default Need help identifying this axle

Well I finally destroyed the gears in my cart’s axle the other day, it is a 94 EZGO. I bought this new axle a while back because I got a great deal on it and in anticipation of breaking the old 94. The problem I have run into is when I bought the axle; it didn’t come with a differential cover. I thought it was an EZGO and it has a date on it 01-18-2006. The mounts line up with my old axle but my old differential cover is larger and does not fit. I had thought that EZGO did not change the axle or differential within these years, just the size of the gear housing in 1998? Anyway, I have been trying to find a differential cover for this axle and have not had any luck. Hopefully some experts on here can give me some advice or lead me in the right direction. Below are some pictures of the axle and the ID tag on it.

Also, could this axle be a Yamaha's or Club Car's? I have zero experience with those carts and I was told it was for an EZGO.

Except for different date and serial number, and text placement on the label, having a "2B" in the upper right corner of the label instead of a "2A", it looks similar to the one in my 2008 PDS.

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the bottom showing the bolt pattern for the pan.

Thanks JohnnieB, I was going to swing by a local golf cart dealer today and see what they say.
