Default Power Drive Charger

Can a Power Drive Charger be used to charge up any 8 volt batteries, or only Trojan 8 volt batteries?

You can charge any deep cycle batteries that total the output of the charger (36v, 48v, 72v etc).

If you bypass OBC and are using Power Drive charger you loose all control and can do damage to batterys or worse yet cause a fire? I saw the remains of a CC that had OBC bypassed and charger left on over night without being watched? FULLY DESTROYED before owner woke up to fire? Was new owner and wasnt told to watch batterys for over charging, never did get a settlement out of previous owner?

OBC is On Board Computer. To find its located follow 48 volt pack ground ( NEGATIVE ) cable from battery under drivers seat to controllers negative Lug. The OBC will have this cable running through it.
You didnt indicate year model of you Club Car but normaly its located behind drivers seat ( under body ) next to the controller.
