Actually does have a dump bed. It is either activated by hand(which is quite the workout) or by wrapping the winch cable over the cab, I have a piece of c-channel about 2 ft. long with rollers in it and I pin that to the roof with mini hitch pins. and attach the hook to and eye-bolt in the front of the bed. It doesn't lift very high but it is very effective.

OK, maybe you don't need clearance where you're at doing logging.
but IMO clearance is mainly a good thing..

I am working on a very similar set up.
- 3 spd w/ reverse cushman trans
- D600 kubota

i designed a bell housing to adapt the trans to my motor, machined and drilled & tapped the kubota flywheel to adapt the cushman clutch, also machined the center of the fly wheel for a pilot bushing.

So far i have it all put together but have yet to test it.

im liking that tranny set up. does it have a neutral? how long is the trany with your custom bell housing?

I haven't been working on the td for a while, I ran out of fire wood in the garage and im sick of freezing my buns off. lol

Thank you, yes it has neutral, 123 forward and reverse. I'll have to measure the length 😯 I can't remember.
