Default Preparing for lithium ion swap

I have a 2005 48v cc precedent. The current trojan batteries are 2018s and although they haven't been giving me problems I want to convert to lithium ion. I have been reading through threads for a bit and their is a ton of information.

I won't be doing the conversion until after golf season so I have about 3 months to purchase supplies and prepare. Where are the best places to buy batteries, bms, etc...?

Is it better/cheaper to go with a drop it type kit or to build my own?

Sorry if most of this has been answered but given the number of pages on some of the build threads I am afraid I will miss something important.

Building your own is the best/cheapest. But it it isn't for everybody. It takes a certain amount of electronic knowledge. It's not Plug n Play. If you do decide to built your own I suggest you follow the path Pingeye3 used. Otherwise use the drop in batteries

Hey there! I’m new and have been reading a lot about building a leaf pack, will eventually create my own thread when I pull the trigger.

I did have a question on your schematics. On the top right you have ‘250a ANN’. Can you explain what that is?
