Default 73 harley golf cart low compression need help

I need help i have a harley cart, taking piston out due to low compression and there is a chip out of the piston, can i use it? first time doing this and am reading alot on this site, could use a coach. lol

Pistons are so cheap for this engine IMHO it would be unwise to use a less than perfect piston. That one belongs in the scrap pile. Just make sure you get the right size rings and piston. How does the cylinder look?

it looks good, and i have multiple. i need a hone though i think any tips?

i measured the cylinder at 2 and 5/8 inches, sound like oem? where should i buy
and would my carquest have em? also i have few other q:s if you know.

I have no idea what OEM sizes are but a car parts store won't have them. Those should be available at pretty much any golf cart parts shop. There are a ton of vendors on line that you can search for.

Vintagegolfcartparts has the pistons from STD to .050 overbore. BUT you do need to be pretty exact with your fit.
