Default Post XCT500 Install - cart cuts out for a moment

I have a 2016 Precedent with a stock motor and 80AH Allied Lithium batteries. I recently installed the Alltrax XCT 500 with FNKS controller. Dave Hicks/Revolution Golf Carts gave me a great deal, and has been a super help. I am running into a situation when running wide open or on my scaled back setting for the golf course that the cart almost cuts out for a second and then resumes. It is literally just for a moment, but I can feel it when driving. Could that be from the regen setting or the speed limit? I have the controller set to 400amp max right now as well since its a stock motor.

It could be the internal BMS of the Allied Lithium battery.

The best way to verify is to run a log while driving and see if the "Low Battery" error gets triggered.

What did You set the Max Battery Amps (not the Armature setting)?

How about the Under voltage and Over voltage settings?

Those settings should be used to prevent the pack from dropping under load or under heavy Regen current.

Edit: Just noticed it was an old post so hopefully it is all working Great now!
