Re: Caddy car ace II
As a lover of vintage carts (I have 7 of them) I can say that thing might be the coolest old cart I have ever seen. If you don't want it let me know. I'd probably take it off your hands.

Re: Caddy car ace II
Trust me, you have to be resourceful that's for sure. I have a '67 Pargo whose accelerator speed control was shot. In actuality, it was a 3 position rotating switch that hooks to an armature from the accelerator pedal. I searched high and low. They are no longer made and I couldn't find a used one. Believe it or not, I sourced a 3 position heater fan switch for 80s era tractor trailers that I was able to make work. I had to modify the cart just a bit to get things just right but, in the end, it worked well.
Being that that's a Kohler engine you shouldn't have issues with getting parts for it. Kohlers were very standard and still are to this day. Worse case, you should be retrofit a new Kohler or Briggs in there easy enough. It's all the peripheral stuff that's the PIA. Front fork parts, bearings, brake parts, etc. A lot of times you have to make stuff up. |

No idea. There is a vintage cart facebook group that is run by a guy who knows that cart. You may want to find that group and post for some info.
