Post LED tail light question...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=160806560317

I picked up a set of LED lights from EBay, link above. It was to be as ad shown, I received light assy with four holes vice two for mounting and no instructions for which wire is what. Granted I can figure it out, but if I burn them up in the attempt to hook them up, I am going to feel like “pooh”.

Has anyone bought these and if so what wire is which? Black wire I can assume is the ground? Then I have the green and red wire… last note, ad stated there was a template to cut holes if needed, thankfully this one already had tail lights, but it would be nice to get all items as advertised on EBay ad…

Oh well, I guess I got what I paid for…

Black is ground....Red is usually stop, turn....Green is running lights. As long as you use black as ground, you will be ok. you can put black to ground then touch one of the other wires to positive and see which is brightest. The bright one is for stop and turn signal. I use a separate 12v battery to test with.
