rattle in rear end, fixed!

I had an intermitant (sp?) "rattle" in the rear of my Club Car. I was talkin to a guy who knows a bit about them, and he told me to replace the plastic "bushing" in the end of the motor. well I replaced the $4 part and no more rattle!! it was super easy to do! although the old bushing didn't look bad I guess it was. well I just wanted to share my excitment!!

I have a 2000 club car that cuts out while driving it. It will just slow down and stop and then take off and then stop. It gets real bad when you hit bumps. We have checked and cleaned the accelerator rheostat and checked all of the connections for looseness, found none. What gives?

The resistors on the v-glide (rheostat) are shot they will do that sometimes.

I have a 2000 club car electric which will stop and start while accelerating. It gets especially bad when you hit a bump. We have checked the accelerator rheostat ans all of the connections. Any ideas?
Got one reply so far indicating bad resistors in the "v-glide" does that mean replace the rheostat or are the resistors located elsewhere?

HI phasetim, Just to be sure, are you suggesting replacement of the entire unit which holds the copper brushes and moving accelerator assy? Where can I order one? Thanks lycflwi@yahoo.com

Do you know if your car is a series or a regen car? If it's a regen car, it could also be the regen solenoid sticking. In which I would tell you to remove the second solenoid.

Either way, if you go to change the v-glide assembly out I would suggest changing it to a MCOR system, it costs a couple more dollars, but MCORs are a much sturdier system.
