36v Pro-Fit charger Problems
Anyone have a wiring diagram to check one of these chargers out. I had my cart on the charger the other night and it stormed. I think we had a power surge and now the charger just hums. No lights at all. I am thinking it is probably fried the board but would like to make sure
THanks for any help |

Which generation DPI is it? How old is it? Profit is just a rebadged DPI for ezgo accessories group.

Re: 36v Pro-Fit charger Problems
I just bought the cart in April but from what I can figure it is Gen III charger.
This was a fleet traded in so not even sure how old the charger is. I have also found that it has the AC relay in it. I have to go out and check this to ensure that it is sending the power through as it should but believe it is as the charger hums when it gets plugged in though no charge to the cart |

Re: 36v Pro-Fit charger Problems
What is the out put voltage suppose to be on the ac relay that the 115v cord hooks to? Should it be 115v like line voltage.

Re: 36v Pro-Fit charger Problems
Not mistaken the relay should still. Have 115 ac volts as it’s before the transformer. After transformer is where it steps down to low voltage if I’m reading diagram correctly.

Re: 36v Pro-Fit charger Problems
I think it is the board after having a local electric guy talk to me about it. As far as I can tell the transformer is kicking in just not passing through the board. It appears as though there is a diode burnt. I dont have the eyes or equipment to properly repair it so I will just replace the board.
