36v to 48v charging question
I am converting my 89 CC from 36 to 48 volts. Three years ago I lifted the cart, got rid of the resistors etc, added a GE 500 amp controller, D395 motor, 4 ga cables etc. When i did this i was sure to use parts that were rated for 48 volts as I knew I wanted to upgrade when the batteries played out. Well I am there now and I am going to run 8, 6 volts. I've looked at gorno's thread where he charges with his 36 volt charger and a 12 volt charger. My question is do I need to be particular about choosing a 12 volt charger? Thanks in advance.

Re: 36v to 48v charging question
Why not just buy a new are good used 48 volt charger? Better yet buy a muti charger and sell the 36 volt one.
