Club Car 05 Pres Jake Lift Sway
05 Club Car, Pres, Jake Lift kit. No problems for over a year. Use the cart at at rental house at the beach. Could have been damaged. Started out about 2 months ago, when I turn hard left the front end seems to have a humping almost like a flat spot on the tires (no flat spots on the tires). Sounds like grinding until I turn back hard right. Then is fine. All this is very slight but I notice it.
Next thing that happened was a sway. Going straight the cart will drift quickly to the left. Seems to just float over. Steering seems to have slack in it at that point. No uneven wear in the tires. I inspected the lift and spindals and I could not see anything obvious. I think I have it traced down to the front left. Could it be a steering gear box adjustment, bad spindle (if so how do I adjust or check). Could tire pressure cause this? Thanks for your help. Last edited by jjprice; 10-02-2010 at 01:59 PM.. its a problem with the king pins jakes had a problem with that jakes sell the new king pin kit thats way for the precedent i go with all sport A frame lift kit six points of adjustments and no driff
