Default 2002 ezgo loss of power after solenoid , resistor, diode replacement

Purchased a 2002 PDS from private party, he had replaced the controller with an aftermarket controller and new batteries. Cart kept going into limp mode (5mph ) every time after I stopped completely. Did not do it if I came to rolling stop Solved every time by putting F/R switch to neutral or reverse then back to forward then it was back to normal speed. Diagnostic gave welded solenoid.
All voltage at pins were checked and in range.
A local cart dealer said to replace solenoid along with the resistor. After I replaced the solenoid and new resistor along with the diode.( I did put the stripe side of diode to positive side of lugs like directions said) I turned cart on put it in reverse pressed pedal down and lost all power.
Now the only pin I have power to is pin 5. Pin4 has .5 volts now
Am I looking at a damaged controller? And what would have caused the damage? Was it from putting the diode in?

Below are the PIN numbers before replacing solenoid resistor and diode
Batteries 36.6

5) 36.6
4) 36.6
3)36.6 key off switch in forward
2) 36.6 key off switch in forward

9)0 with key off and in neutral 36.6 forward 35,9 reverse

0 with key off and in neutral
36.6 in forward 35.9 in reverse

7) 36.6
6) 36.3 in forward

4 pin-

4) 14.6 without throttle 13.9 with throttle pressed
3) .8 and 2.8
2) 36.5
1) 35.9

Pds cart doesn’t use a diode but stripe would connect to yellow. I would take it out.. if pin 4 lost voltage you probably trashed the reed switch in the charger port. Find the loom coming from the port with the white, black and red wires in it. Red should have pack + coming from the port. If not just splice the wire going to the controller to pack positive.

Thank you for the response, I have no power at any of my pin outs besides 5. So after more research I found out I actually put the diode in backwards I assumed the blue was positive based on the positive on the big lug side. Am I leaning towards a blown tow haul switch? And possibly not my controller

4 and 5 feed power to the circuit of the controller. If they both don’t have power it won’t run.

So I have no voltage on red wire coming out of the reed switch black and white read 35.8 the reed switch looks to be in good shape? I will try to bypass it and see what happens

Reed switch was bad, everything pins out normally, but now it only goes in reverse even when in forward?
Bad controller?

I don't know If that matters but, batteries at 36.6v are pretty empty...
