What’s best way to connect accessories to battery with tabs
Hey all,
Trying to figure out best way to connect lights and possibly a phone charger to this battery I got. It has tabs instead of posts. Also should I put a fuse on light or charger line? If so how do I determine what amp fuse to use? Tabs are 1/2 inch. |

Screw and a nut, probably brass.
A fuse wouldn't hurt. Determine what you expect your amp draw to be. Start smaller and go from there. Don't forget to increase wire size according to length of run and amp draw. A phone charging port doesn't draw much. LED lights draw less than incandescent bulbs. If you know the watts of draw you can divide by volts to get amps. |

I have a few of those. I use 1/4-20 bolt and nut. Then just put 5/16 ring terminals on the wires.
