It’s been a while...but I snagged another cart

I just got an 01 TXT. No batteries/charger. It’s a bit rough for now. I’ve googled and played enough to find that its a PDS 36v cart. Now, my question is-can I go to 48v on my stock36v motor for a bit? I’m goin to have to cough up some $$ for batteries. Might as well go 48v. Any suggestions as far as controller? It’ll be on road 90% of the time. 10 or 12 inch wheel with low profile tires. It’ll take me a while to get stuff together, so I just want to start with a clear path. Thanks in advance!
