Club Car Precedent Problem
I have a 2006 48V club car precedent with upgraded alltrax controller, solenoid, cables....etc. the cart has been working fine but one day I get in the cart to load it up and the cart wouldn't even budge. I get no click from the solenoid and when I turn the key the alltrax controller isn't even lighting up. Any advice to helping me diagnose the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Club Car Precedent Problem
What is your battery voltage? Did you check your main fuse? I would just start with the basics.

Re: Club Car Precedent Problem
When I checked the battery voltage it was 48 point something and that's after it hadbeen off the charger for a while. I did check the main fuse and it is fine.

Re: Club Car Precedent Problem
The batteries are only 2 years old and have been working fine, they have shown no signs of going dead. How can they be completely fine one week then dead the next without any warning signs.

Re: Club Car Precedent Problem
First I would check the key switch. See if you got 24Volts on both sides of it with the key on. Measured to Bat-. If you don't have any voltage on either side check the fuse. It's inside the controller compartment.

Re: Club Car Precedent Problem
I charged the batteries and it now reads 51.3, when I got the 48 reading that was when the cart had not been on the charger for a couple weeks.
When I measured the key switch to the Bat-, I also got a reading of 51.3 on both sides. |

Does the reverse buzzer work? Check to make sure it wasn't accidentally switched to tow.

Re: Club Car Precedent Problem
the reverse buzzer is deactivated, I suppose I could plug it back up to see if it works. The run/tow switch is set to run.
