How can I tell what year w/out a data plate?

My parents have got an old Club Car and I have no idea what year it is. My mom is wanting to add some goodies to it, but I don't know what to order. I can't find a data plate on it anywhere.

It does have the two prong, upside down "v" pattern on it, but that is about all I have to go on. The charger has got 9-82 on it, if that means that the cart might also be an 82 model.

Any help would be appreciated. I'll post a pic of it later and maybe that will help you club car pros out there.

Post pics of the cart and the battery bay...... the DS body stayed the same with few changes for 20 yrs? The id tag is located under the passenger glove box at the floor......

That's the first cart I've ever seen with a white dash!
So I'm guessing that it was painted! and the tag was too!

It's possible that you may have a secondary tag underneath the dash,
on top of the passenger frame rail, just above the front tires.
(at least thats where my buddies 94 secondary tag is!)

I've also read that some of the early 80's carts have a metal tag on the drivers side frame rail,
in the battery bay, in front of the rear tire! (but don't qoute me on that!)

Here's a pic of where my secondary tag is... But, my cart is fairly new,
Hopefully, it'll give you a general idea how to access the other tag... IF... it's on the front frame rail!

Thanks Lockman. I'll check those places when I get back down to their house. And yes, it's definitely been painted (with a paint brush)

It looks like a 5 solenoid cart .... made between 1984 and 88. But it could be older. Does it have a steering box or a rack and pinion steering? Also did you find the id tag? Is it painted below the dash at the floor? ??? If so use laquer thinner to clean it and read the stamped in number, Wha-la

2 pedals or 3? if three, it is 75-80 yr.

It has two pedals. The parking brake is in one of the top corners of the brake pedal.
